Codes and Frequencies
Description
FPSRCINTRADS (V330) reports where the woman obtained information about the rhythm method (periodic abstinence), with answers recorded using standard responses and codes that are consistent across countries and samples.
Comparability
Apart from changes in the universe and question wording differences, FPSRCINTRADS (V330) has no comparability issues.
In most samples, traditional methods included the rhythm method (periodic abstinence) and withdrawal, but only women using periodic abstinence were asked where they obtained instructions or advice about this method.
Comparability - Standard DHS
FPSRCINTRADS (V330) was included in the standard DHS questionnaire for Phase 1 only.
