ATEBIRD24H indicates whether the woman respondent ate poultry (i.e., chicken, duck, or other birds) during the previous day, either at night or during the daytime.
Comparability
Apart from universe differences and slight differences in question wording, ATEBIRD24H is largely comparable across samples.
Comparability - Standard DHS
ATEBIRD24H is a country-specific variable not included in any standard DHS questionnaire. The standard DHS questionnaire for Phase 5 includes questions about food and drink consumed by the woman during the previous day, including room for country-specific choices (such as poultry).
