AIDGETWITCH (V823) indicates whether the woman believes AIDS can be contracted through witchcraft or supernatural means. Not all surveys specifically use the term "witchcraft" in the question. See Comparability.

Comparability — Ethiopia [top]

The Ethiopia 2005 survey question asks if one can contract AIDS or HIV "because of God's curse or other supernatural means." The Ethiopia 2011 survey words this question as "witchcraft, God's curse, or other supernatural means." The 2016 Ethiopia survey uses the standard question wording.
