For women who believe that they are at moderate or great risk of getting HIV/AIDS, AIDHRISKUTEN indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, they reported sharing utensils (with people infected with HIV/AIDS) as the reason.
AIDHRISKUTEN has no comparability problems.
Comparability - Standard DHS
In Phase III of the standard DHS questionnaire, the standard questionnaire asks an open-ended question about why respondents believe they are at great or moderate risk of getting HIV/AIDS. AIDHRISKUTEN is a country-specific response category.
