- Bangladesh 2007: Ever-married women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey.
- Morocco 2003: Women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey.
- Pakistan 2006: Ever-married women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey and who experienced some pregnancy complication.
