Description

CALWORK reports whether the woman was employed during the month. For those who did work (not coded "0"), CALWORK reports whether the woman was a paid employee, self-employed, or unpaid and whether she worked at home or away from home.

Comparability

Apart from universe differences, CALWORK is comparable across samples.
