For women who have had sexual intercourse in the last 2 months, CONUS2MO indicates whether a condom was used on any of those occasions.
CONUS2MO is largely comparable across samples.
To maximize comparability, IPUMS-DHS uses composite coding with "Yes" responses having a first digit of "1." The second digit distinguishes between "Yes, rarely" (code "11"), "Yes, sometimes" (code "12"), and "Yes, every time" (code "13"), when this additional information is available.
