DELCG5_ALL indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, the woman reported a spiritual doctor gave delivery care for a recent birth. This response category is country-specific to Congo Brazzaville.
DELCG5_ALL consists of a set of up to five separate variables, covering the most recent birth (DELCG5_01) up to the fifth-most-recent birth (i.e., DELCG5_02, DELCG5_03, DELCG5_04, and DELCG5_05) during the reference period prior to the survey. If DELCG5_ALL is included in a data extract, all these separate variables are included in a researcher's data file.
DELCG5_ALL has no comparability problems.
Comparability - Standard DHS
An open-ended question about who provided delivery care is included in Phase II forward of the standard DHS questionnaire. DELCG5_ALL is a country-specific response not included in any Phase of the standard DHS questionnaire.
