- Liberia 2019: Women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey and who did not deliver in a health facility.
- Nepal 2016: Women age 15-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey, who did not deliver in a health facility, and did not use a special safe delivery kit.
