Description
DELUMBTRANY_ALL indicates whether anything was applied to the stump of the child's umbilical cord at any time.
DELUMBTRANY_ALL consists of a set of six separate variables, covering the most recent birth (DELUMBTRANY_01) up to the sixth-most-recent birth (i.e., DELUMBTRANY_02, DELUMBTRANY_03, DELUMBTRANY_04, DELUMBTRANY_05, and DELUMBTRANY_06) during the reference period prior to the survey. If DELUMBTRANY_ALL is included in a data extract, all these separate variables are included in a researcher's data file.
For most surveys, this information was collected for only the most recent birth (DELUMBTRANY_01). Surveys in which the data were collected for additional births are noted in the comparability section.
