Comparability

Differences resulting from the question wording for the variable DVHANY (D119Y) may limit the comparability of DVHMAINREAS (D120) across samples. In effect, while most samples report the main reason why the woman never sought help, some samples reports the main reason why she had not sought help in the past year.

Differences in the response categories may also limit comparability across samples, with some including a response category for "NOT IMPORTANT" (as the reason for not seeking help).
