Description
DVHMEDPUBHC indicates whether the woman reported a public health center as the place where she sought help from a doctor or other medical personnel after experiencing physical or sexual abuse.
Some samples in the "DVHMED" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.
