Description
For women who were randomly selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, DVOSTRANF indicates whether they had been physically hurt by a female stranger since age 15.
Comparability
DVOSTRANF has no comparability problems.
Comparability - Standard DHS
A question asking about violence from a stranger is included in phase IV of the standard form of the DHS domestic violence module. However, the question specifying a female stranger was not included in any version of the standard form of the DHS domestic violence module.
