- Rwanda 2019: Women age 15-49, in households that were selected for the domestic violence module, who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, and who have been beaten, slapped, kicked, or otherwise physically attacked by more than one person other than a husband/partner in the last 12 months.
- South Africa 1998: Women age 15-49 who have experienced physical violence in the past year.
