Description
For women who were randomly selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module and had ever been pregnant, DVPREGDAU indicates whether they had been physically hurt by their daughter during their pregnancy.
For a variable that includes women hurt by their daughter or son during pregnancy, see DVPREGCHILD (D118D).
Comparability
Apart from universe differences and slight differences in question wording, DVPREGDAU (D118D) has no comparability problems.
Comparability - Standard DHS
DVPREGDAU is not included in the standard DHS questionnaire for any phase, but it is included in phase IV of the standard domestic violence module.
