For women who were randomly selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module and had ever been pregnant, DVPREGNHBR (D118U) indicates whether they had been physically hurt by a neighbor during their pregnancy.

Universe
- Cameroon 2011: Women age 15-49 who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, and who have ever been pregnant.
- Nigeria 2008: Women age 15-49 who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, and who have had at least one pregnancy during which they were beaten, slapped, kicked, or otherwise physically attacked.
- South Africa 2016: Women age 18-49 who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module and have either experienced sexual violence from their spouse/partner/boyfriend or have never had a spouse/partner/boyfriend, and who have ever been pregnant.
