Description
For women who were randomly selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module and had ever been pregnant, DVPREGSIS indicates whether they had been physically hurt by their sister during their pregnancy.
Comparability
Apart from universe differences and slight differences in question wording, DVPREGSIS has no comparability problems.
Comparability - Standard DHS
DVPREGSIS is not included in the standard DHS questionnaire for any phase, but it is included in phases V, VI, and VII of the standard domestic violence module.

- Cameroon 2004: Women age 15-49 who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, and who have ever been pregnant.
- Egypt 2005: Ever-married women age 15-49 who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, and who have ever been pregnant.
- Jordan 2007: Ever-married women age 15-49 who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, and who have ever been pregnant.
- Jordan 2012: Ever-married women age 15-49 who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, and who have ever been pregnant.
- Jordan 2017: Ever-married women age 15-49 who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, and who have ever been pregnant.
- Malawi 2004: Women age 15-49 who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, and who have ever given birth or are currently pregnant.
- Mali 2006: Women age 15-49 who were selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, and who have ever been pregnant.
