Comparability
Along with universe differences, DVRPREGLOST has some differences in question wording, noted below.
Comparability - Standard DHS
DVRPREGLOST is neither included in the standard DHS questionnaire for any phase nor in any phase of the standard domestic violence module.
Comparability — Ethiopia [top]
The 2016 Ethiopia survey asks whether the woman miscarried because of physical violence while pregnant. This violence is not limited to the woman's husband or partner.
Comparability — Nepal [top]
The 2011 Nepal survey asks whether the woman miscarried because of physical violence while pregnant. This violence is not limited to the woman's husband or partner.
Comparability — Tanzania [top]
While the general wording of "lost a pregnancy" suggests a miscarriage triggered by a beating, the Tanzania 2015 survey refers to "an abortion or miscarriage."
