Description
For women who were randomly selected and interviewed for the domestic violence module, DVSEXFWHUS indicates whether, since age 15, they had ever been forced by their husband or live-in partner to have sexual intercourse or perform other sexual acts.

Comparability - Standard DHS
DVSEXFWHUS is not included in the standard DHS questionnaire for any phase, but it is related to a series of questions about who forced the woman to have sexual intercourse or perform other sexual acts in phase VIII of the standard domestic violence module.
Comparability — Zambia [top]
The 2001 Zambia survey asks only about being forced to have sexual intercourse, and does not ask about other sexual acts. Further, the Zambia 2001 survey asks specifically about the man who forced the woman to have sexual intercourse with him, whereas other surveys do not specify perpetrator gender.
