Comparability — Bangladesh [top]
For Bangladesh 2018, women were asked whether they were visited by a fieldworker who talked to them about family planning or gave them a family planning method during a 6-month reference period. The response categories for this question included three separate categories: whether the fieldworker exclusively talked to the woman about family planning, gave the woman a family planning method, or the fieldworker talked to the woman about family planning and gave the woman a family planning method.
This survey also includes related questions about visits from a government family planning worker (FPHOMVISITYFP), government health worker (FPHOMVISITYHW), or an NGO worker (FPHOMVISITYNGO).
Comparability — Egypt [top]
The 2003 Egyptian survey used the 6 months prior to the interview for the reference period for the other type of family planning worker's visit. This survey includes related questions about visits from a social worker (FPHOMVISITYR), health care worker (FPHOMVISITYHW), or no family planning worker (FPHOMVISITYN).
