Comparability
Variations in question wording for FPMDRNHR potentially limit comparability. The reference period is sometimes vague ("in the last few months") and sometimes more specific (e.g., "in the past 6 months").
Varying time intervals could lead to variation in the frequency of responses. Researchers interested in using FPMDRNHR should take the reference period and question wording into consideration when comparing across samples. See Survey Text.

FPMDRNHR is a country-specific variable, and it is not included in any phase of the standard DHS questionnaire.
Comparability — Jordan [top]
The 1997 Jordan questionnaire asks an open-ended question about where the woman receives information about family planning, with "private doctor or nurse" listed as a response category. This question does not include any time interval, which may limit comparability for the 1997 Jordan sample.
