Description
For women who are currently doing something to delay or avoid getting pregnant, FPNOWUSBF (V399) indicates whether the woman is now using breastfeeding.
Universe
- Benin 1996: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, and are not pregnant or sterilized .
- Burkina Faso 1998: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Cameroon 1998: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Central African Republic 1995: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Chad 1996: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Chad 2004: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Comoros 1996: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Cote d'Ivoire 1998: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Gabon 2000: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Guinea 1999: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Jordan 1997: Ever-married women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Kenya 1998: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregancy, are not sterilized and are using some form of contraception.
- Madagascar 1997: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Mali 1995: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregancy, are not sterilized and are using some form of contraception.
- Mozambique 1997: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Nepal 1996: Ever-married women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, and who have had at least one birth.
- Niger 1998: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Nigeria 1999: Women age 10-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregancy, are not sterilized and are using some form of contraception.
- Tanzania 1996: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
- Togo 1998: Women age 15-49 who ever used breastfeeding (lactational amenorrhea) to avoid pregnancy, are not pregnant or sterilized and have had at least one birth.
