Description

For women who were using a contraceptive method at the start of the calendar period, FPPRECALMO (V388) reports the number of months before the start of the calendar period that the woman had used the contraceptive method employed in the first month of the calendar period. The DHS Program's recode manual for Phase II reports, "This variable is used as the exposure prior to the start of the calendar in life table analyses."
