Description

FPRHYMETH (V314) reports how the woman determined which days to abstain from sexual intercourse to practice periodic abstinence (rhythm) as a means of delaying or avoiding pregnancy.

When children are chosen as the unit of analysis, the woman respondent indicates the mother of the child.

Comparability

Along with slight question wording differences, the universe for FPRHYMETH (V314) changed substantially over time, in line with changes in the standard DHS questionnaires (see below for more information).
