Description
FSNOTREATGON indicates whether the woman reported the disappearance of the problem as a reason for not getting treatment for fistula, in response to an open-ended question.
When children are chosen as the unit of analysis, the woman respondent indicates the mother of the child.
Comparability
Apart from universe differences, FSNOTREATGON has no comparability problems.
Comparability - Standard DHS
FSNOTREATGON is not included in any phase of the standard DHS questionnaire, but it is included in both phases (for use with Phases VI and VII of the standard questionnaire) of the module on fistula.

- Afghanistan 2015: Ever-married women age 15-49 who have experienced fistula but have not sought treatment.
- Benin 2011: Women age 15-49 who have experienced fistula but have not sought treatment.
- Burkina Faso 2010: Women age 15-49 who have experienced fistula.
- Cameroon 2018: All women age 15-49.
- Chad 2014: All women age 15-49.
- Comoros 2012: All women age 15-49.
- Ethiopia 2016: All women age 15-49.
- Gambia 2019: All women age 15-49.
- Guinea 2018: Women age 15-49 who had fistula but did not seek treatment for fistula.
- Malawi 2016: Women age 15-49 who have experienced fistula.
- Mali 2012: Women age 15-49 who did not seek treatment for a fistula that followed a delivery, sexual assault, pelvic surgery, or other event.
- Mali 2018: Women age 15-49 who had fistula but did not seek treatment for fistula.
