Description
FSTREATRARES reports the result of fistula treatment other than a surgical operation in a modern health center (i.e., either other non-surgical medical treatment or traditional treatments in the village).
Comparability
Both universe differences and differences in question wording limit the comparability of FSTREATRARES across samples.
For some samples, the question is asked of women receiving traditional care or treatment other than surgery in a modern medical health facility. For other samples, the question refers only to women who sought traditional care.
Some samples ask about the results of treatment up to the day of the interview, while others inquire about past treatment.
Comparability - Standard DHS
FSTREATRARES is in neither the standard DHS questionnaire or in the DHS standard fistula module.
