HCFTZ2 indicates whether the woman reported a religious district hospital as a source for female condoms. This response category is country-specific to Tanzania.

Some samples in the "HCF" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

HCFTZ2 is combined with HCFTZ1 (religious referral hospital), HCFTZ3 (religious health center), and HCFTZ4 (religious dispensary) in HCFPRIVMIS (all faith-based facilities) for the 2004 and 2010 Tanzania samples. An open-ended question on known sources for female condoms is included in the standard DHS questionnaire in Phases IV forward.

Though HCFTZ2 is a country-specific response, this variable is combined with other responses in HCFPRIVMIS, a variable that encompasses all faith-based facilities as sources of female condoms.
