ORSCOST is a 4-digit numeric variable that reports the cost of an ORS packet, or what the respondent believes an ORS packet costs.

Comparability - Standard DHS
ORSCOST is a country-specific variable, and it is not included in any phase of the standard DHS questionnaire.
The 1987 Sri Lanka sample reports the cost of an ORS packet in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR).
The 1989 Sudan sample reports the cost of an ORS packet in first Sudanese pounds (SDP). The 1989 Sudan sample is top-coded at 90 Sudanese pounds.
The 1988 Tunisia sample reports the cost of an ORS packet in Tunisian dinars (TND).
The 1991 Yemen sample reports the cost of an ORS packet in Yemeni rial (YER).
