Description
For women who had symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection in the past 12 months, STIADJAIL indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, they reported seeking advice or treatment at a prison or some other correctional facility for this problem.
Comparability
Apart from universe differences and slight differences in question wording, STIADJAIL has no comparability problems.
Comparability - Standard DHS
An open-ended question about where the woman received advice/treatment for an STI is included in Phases III, V, and VI forward of the standard DHS questionnaire. Responses are country-specific.
