STIADTG3 indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, the female respondent reported seeking advice or treatment from a public school-based clinic the last time she experienced symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection in the past year. This response category is country-specific to Togo.

STIADTG3 has no comparability problems.
Comparability - Standard DHS
An open-ended question about where the woman sought advice/treatment for an STI is included in Phases III, V, and VI in the standard DHS questionnaire. STIADTG3 is a country-specific response category, and it is not included in any phase of the standard DHS women's questionnaire, but it is included as an integrated variable in IPUMS-DHS to increase comparability across samples.

- Togo 2013: Women age 15-49 who have had sex, and who had an STI, abnormal genital discharge, or genital ulcer/sore in the past 12 months.
