Description

STIHEARD (V750) indicates whether the woman had heard of AIDS or any other sexually transmitted infection (STI).

For a variable that indicates whether the respondent had heard of STIs other than AIDS, see STIHEARDOTH (V785). For a variable that indicates whether the respondent had heard of AIDS specifically, see AIDSHEARD (V751).
