Description
TETNUS2MO reports the month that the female respondent received her second tetanus toxoid immunization.
The complementary variables TETNUS2DAY and TETNUS2YR report the day of the month and the year of the female respondent's second tetanus toxoid immunization, as recorded on a vaccination card shown to the interviewer.
Comparability
TETNUS2MO has no comparability problems.
While all samples in TETNUS2MO use the Gregorian calendar, certain countries use country-specific calendars. These countries (noted below) are excluded from TETNUS2MO but are included in country-specific variables.
- Nepal uses the uses the Vikram Samvat: TETNUS2MO_NP
TETNUS2MO is a country-specific variable, and it is not included in any phase of the standard DHS questionnaire.
Universe
- Bangladesh 2000: Ever-married women age 10-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey, who received at least two tetanus injections and whose second tetanus injection date was on their tetanus injection card.
