Description
TETNUS5MO reports the month that the female respondent received her fifth tetanus toxoid immunization.
The complementary variables TETNUS5DAY and TETNUS5YR report the day of the month and the year of the female respondent's fifth tetanus toxoid immunization, as recorded on a vaccination card shown to the interviewer.
Comparability
TETNUS5MO has no comparability problems.
While all samples in TETNUS5MO use the Gregorian calendar, certain countries use country-specific calendars. These countries (noted below) are excluded from TETNUS5MO but are included in country-specific variables.
- Nepal uses the uses the Vikram Samvat: TETNUS5MO_NP
TETNUS5MO is a country-specific variable, and it is not included in any phase of the standard DHS questionnaire.
Universe
- Bangladesh 2000: Ever-married women age 10-49 who gave birth in the 5 years before the survey, who received at least five tetanus injections and whose fifth tetanus injection date was on their tetanus injection card.
