Comparability - Standard DHS
WKFEMOK is a country-specific variable not included in any phase of the standard DHS questionnaire.
The 1992 Egypt questionnaire says, "Some say that a woman's place is not only at home but she should be able to work. Do you agree?
The 1988 Ghana survey asks, "Whether you have worked in the past or not, do you think it is alright for a mother [emphasis added] to work away from home, if her children can be adequately cared for?"
