Universe
- Burundi 1987: Women age 15-49 who were ever married or in union, and for whom at least one parent or parent-in-law was alive at date of first marriage or union.
- Ghana 1988: Women age 15-49 who were ever married or in union, and for whom at least one parent or parent-in-law was alive at date of first marriage or union.
- Morocco 1987: Ever-married women age 15-49, for whom at least one parent or parent-in-law was alive at date of first marriage.
- Senegal 1986: Women age 15-49 who were ever married or in union, and for whom at least one parent or parent-in-law was alive at date of first marriage or union.
- Sri Lanka 1987: Ever-married women age 15-49, for whom at least one parent or parent-in-law was alive at date of first marriage.
- Sudan 1989: Ever-married women age 15-49.
