Description

GEO_MG2003 (V101_MG2003) indicates the region of Madagascar where the respondent was interviewed. DHS units in the 2003 Madagascar survey are equivalent to autonomous provinces.

Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. There is also an integrated variable, GEO_MG1992_2008, that provides spatially consistent units over time.
