GEO_RW2000 (V101_RW2000) indicates the region of Rwanda where the respondent was interviewed. DHS units in the 2000 Rwanda survey are equivalent to prefectures.
Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. There are also integrated variables, GEO_RW1992_2005 and GEO_RW2005_2019, that provide spatially consistent units over time. The Rwanda 2000 sample is excluded from GEO_RW2005_2019 due to inconsistent boundaries.
