BIOFANEMIAREF (V458) indicates whether the respondent agreed to be referred for treatment after hemoglobin blood tests revealed anemia. According to the DHS Recode Manuals, "In case[s] where the anemia level is severe, respondents are asked whether this information can be given to a doctor at a specified health facility for follow up."
