Description
For women who had symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection in the past 12 months, STIADCM9 indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, they reported seeking advice or treatment from their workplace. This response is country-specific to Cameroon.

Comparability - Standard DHS
An open-ended question about where the woman sought advice/treatment for an STI in the last 12 months is included in Phase III, V, and VI of the standard DHS questionnaire. STIADCM9 is a country-specific variable and is not included in the standard DHS questionnaire.
Universe
- Cameroon 2018: Women age 15-64 who had an STI, abnormal genital discharge, or a genital ulcer/sore in the last 12 months.
